Program Description:

University College Dublin – National University of Ireland, Dublin

UCD1University College Dublin, formally known as University College Dublin – National University of Ireland, Dublin, (UCD) is Ireland's largest and most diverse university with over 30,000 students, drawn from approximately 124 countries.  The University originates in a body founded in 1854 as the Catholic University of Ireland, re-formed in 1880 and received its royal charter in 1908 as part of the National University of Ireland.

Originally located in the centre of the city of Dublin, most of the University's faculties have since been relocated to a 148 hectare park campus at Belfield, four kilometres to the south of the city.  It is home to over 5,000 international students and delivers degrees to over 5,000 students on overseas campuses. In addition, the University places great emphasis on the internationalisation of the Irish student experience.
