Studying breadth and electives subjects, therefore, is the wisest course of action for an exchange to these institutions. If you do try to study core subjects on exchange and do fail to enrol in one or more of those subjects this may result in having to extend your degree by a semester or full year

The only commerce discipline available for exchange students is economics.
Limited places are made available for exchange students in design studios in the School of Art and Design, the School of Architecture and the Department of Landscape Architecture.
English Language Requirements
Students whose native language is not English and who attend institutions where the only language of instruction is English are not required to submit proof of English proficiency. All students who are nominated to the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign are required to complete an English Language Proficiency Verification Form as part of their application to UIUC.
