Cartagena Architecture Workshop at the University of the Andes

Program Overview

The Cartagena Architecture Workshop at the University of the Andes is a four week Architecture practicum taught from 1-23 July 2016 in Cartagena, Colombia. The Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne has an exchange arrangement for this program with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of the Andes.

There are up to four (4) places available.
 

Costs

As this is an exchange program you do not pay the tuition fees at Cartagena, however you will still need to pay for lodging and board, the exact costs of this are listed here: http://cartagena.uniandes.edu.co/index.php/en/useful-info/lodging


Who can apply?

Only Bachelor of Environments (Architecture major) students who will have completed at least 200 points of study by commencement of the program are eligible to apply.

While English is spoken by the academics and students in the program, the main language of communication is Spanish. A basic level of Spanish is required. Students wishing to take this program must have evidence of Spanish language proficiency of at least two semesters of Spanish language study at tertiary level or equivalent.
 
Students approved by their student centre to participate in this program will gain 12.5pts of environments elective or breadth credit for the completion of this program.
