University of Vienna - January School

The University of Vienna January School for cultural-historical studies takes place in Vienna, the capital of Austria where the imperial and elaborate culture of the late 19th and the beginning of the 20th century are still visible. The two week program combines subjects with an extensive social and cultural program consisting of lectures in the morning and guided excursions to different parts of the city of Vienna (e.g. the Schönberg Centre and city walks around the Ringstraße and Art Nouveau buildings) and to different museums (the Museum for Applied Arts and Schönbrunn Palace) in the afternoon.  The academic environment encourages intercultural and social exchange and favours mutual understanding within the international student population. A full list of subject options is available here
