Free University of Berlin - January School
The Free University of Berlin (FUB) is offering a three week January School of academic classes, complemented by a range of fully inclusive social activities, designed for international students.  The topics covered are:  European Studies and German Language.  A full list of subject options is available here.*

*The list for 2018 will be published in due course; in the meantime, please use this 2017 list as a guide.

The School runs from Wednesday 3 January - Thursday 25 January, 2018.

How much does it cost?
The cost for the January School 2018 is approximately €2,640 as outlined on the Fees & Registration webpage.  This includes fees, tuition, housing and insurance.

**Costs do not include airfares; interested students are responsible for funding their associated travel to get to the host institution.

How much credit can be earned?
Each subject in the January School is worth 4 ECTS.  Students MUST take two subjects amounting to 8 ECTS in total to earn 12.5 University of Melbourne points from their study in the January School.  You must, however, get your overseas study plan approved for credit to your degree here before leaving Melbourne, and students are encouraged to have multiple subjects approved to provide themselves with maximum flexibility.
