*The list for 2018 will be published in due course; in the meantime, please use this 2017 ist as a guide.

Tuesday 2 January - Friday 19 January, 2018

How much does it cost?**
Tuition for visiting students varies from faculty to faculty, but generally tuition for a four credit subject, including the services and fees charge, will be approximately A$7,962 (US$6,328).  Further information is available on the Fees Office page.

Textbooks, housing, and transportation costs are additional.
**Costs do not include airfares; interested students are responsible for funding their associated travel to get to the host university. Australian rates are as at 24 July 2017.
How much credit can be earned?
Subjects in the January School range in credit value.  Students must take at least four credits to earn 12.5 University of Melbourne points from their study in the January School.  You must, however, get your overseas study plan approved for credit to your degree here before leaving Melbourne, and students are encouraged to have multiple subjects approved to provide themselves with maximum flexibility.

Housing is available but not guaranteed for visiting students during the January School.  Students may still apply for housing but are advised to look for external accommodation seeing as housing is limited during the January Term.  Please click here for further information.
